We got informed by Microsoft they decided to make a change in their Azure SQL Database-service that puts ADAM implementations on it, at risk:
We’ve determined that there is a security risk with user-defined SQL CLR in SQL Database. There have been no known exploits to date. In an effort to help protect the security of our customers, we have proactively suspended the use of user-defined SQL CLR. This means that user-defined SQL CLR will no longer work. (Joachim Hammer, Principal Security Program Manager for the Azure SQL Database service)
We are in close contact with Microsoft on how and when this could be fixed.
For any customers that already use Azure SQL please contact ADAM Support if you face issues or have additional questions regarding this matter..
